It is our desire, here at KRV Boat Charters, to make your experience with us as enjoyable and safe for you, your family, and your friends as we possibly can. In order to do that, we need your assistance in following certain guidelines which will ensure everyone's safety.
LIFE JACKETS: One Type I life preserver will be provided to every passenger on board. While for adults, wearing a life preserver is not mandatory, it is suggested that everyone take advantage of it's use in case of an accident. A child under the age of 10 and any juvenile under the age of 18 who cannot swim, will be required to wear a life preserver, or a ski jacket while the boat is in motion.
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES: Alcoholic beverages will be permitted on board, but will not be provided by KRV Boat Charters. Only those permitted by law will be allowed to consume them. Anyone consuming alcoholic beverages on board will be expected to moderate their consumption and behave in a manner that will not put themselves, or anyone else on board at any risk including distraction of the Captain in the performance of his duties. At any time, if the Captain concludes that alcohol consumption by any person is creating such a risk, he reserves the right to return the boat to shore and conclude the charter without any refund.
FISHING CHARTERS: Amateur fishing gear will be provided at no additional cost. At this time, we do not carry professional gear. If you are an avid fisherman, please bring whatever gear that you need to enjoy your outing.
LIABILITY: KRV Boat Charters will always strive to provide the safest boating experience for all of our customers. Our Bayliner 2855 Cierra Sunbridge is now equipped with a brand new engine and the latest electronics to keep us moving and return us safely to shore. We have first aid equipment on board for anyone who becomes injured. It is highly suggested that anyone injured while on a charter, obtain professional medical assistance at the conclusion of the charter. At any time, the boat can be returned to shore at the request of a guest to obtain medical assistance and a partial refund can be provided. Parents and guardians will be required to monitor their children at all times. All guests must provide their own medication and sunscreen.
FOOD AND BEVERAGE; Snacks, soda, and water will be available to all guests at no extra charge. There is, however, no official galley available, so no additional food can be provided. Please bring any full meals with you. We have a refrigerator and a microwave which can be utilized at any dock which provides shore power.
PAYMENT AND REFUNDS: Payment is due at time of booking. If unforeseen circumstances arise, you may cancel your charter 24 hours before departure time. After that period, you will be charged 25% of your charter rate. If another charter can be scheduled in your place, you will receive a full refund. Inclement weather may cause a situation when venturing out onto Lake Erie would place the safety of passengers in danger. These include thunderstorms, high winds, and white capped waves exceeding 5 feet. In these circumstances, a full refund will be provided.
